VEHICLE TECHNICIAN - GRIMSBY

The Company

The Role

The Vehicle Technician is a key role within our aftersales function ensuring customer satisfaction in the service and repair of motor vehicles of all types. You will have a flair for working directly with customers and need to be confident in liaising with our customers to give the very best recommendation for the vehicle and business needs.

Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out the service and maintenance on a range of vehicles, all whilst delivering the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.

  • As a Vehicle Technician, you will be required to: -
  • Carry out minor to major mechanical repairs
  • Be competent in using diagnostic equipment
  • Able to diagnose SRS and ABS systems
  • Able to interpret and complete paperwork
  • Confidently discuss issues with customers
  • Have a friendly and good telephone manner
  • Be approachable for our customers

The Person

  • You must possess a relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3/4
  • You must possess your own full set of Tools

PARTS ADVISOR - PRIORY PARK

The Company

The Role

The Parts Advisor will be a key part of our Parts Department team reporting to the Parts Manager in ensuring the efficient and smooth running of the Parts Department.

Working as part of a team, the Parts Advisor role will be both demanding and rewarding. You will be an essential contact with Trenton Service Teams and external customers and will need to build rapport with peers and customers, to provide an excellent service. You will ensure that the Service Teams and customers’ needs and requirements for parts are met through the effective use of parts catalogues and computer stock lists.

Responsibilities

  • Correctly identifying required parts using the manufacturers Electronic Parts Catalogue
  • Ordering parts on behalf of the Service team and external customers, including special orders
  • Checking all parts and accessories are in good order on receipt from a supplier
  • Ensure all parts are correctly stored and located
  • Process cash and card payments for customer parts
  • Completing all relevant administration promptly and accurately (including customer records and invoicing)
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, paying attention to manufacturers guidelines and Group CSI
  • To observe all health and safety regulations and COSHH regulations always, and all company agreed policies in line with the code of practice

The Person

  • Experience of working within a Parts Department
  • Have good mechanical awareness or understanding of cars and parts
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Is methodical and organised
  • Is IT literate
  • Can communicate with customers both face to face and over the telephone, building rapport and qualifying the customer's requirements.
  • Have a good understanding of the customer's needs and the products that are available to guide them towards the product that will best meet their needs
  • Can encourage the sale of genuine parts and accessories whenever possible, acting on opportunities to sell additional products/services and market current promotions

NEW/USED VEHICLE SALES EXECUTIVE – PEUGEOT HULL

JOB ROLE:
Reporting to the General Sales Manager and working with a motivated and friendly sales team, as a Car Sales Executive you will be required to sell new and used cars, finance related products and warranties with the aim of reaching and exceeding targets. You will be required to keep customers informed of delivery progress and keep them consistently updated . You must explain warranty, service arrangements, introduce customers to the Service Department team and demonstrate the features of the car and offer any other support that may be required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
To succeed in this role you must have a desire to produce results, a commitment to excellence, be able to build outstanding customer relationships, and have a genuine passion to work for the company. You will need to have excellent customer service skills, a positive and helpful attitude and the drive, energy and commitment to seek every sales opportunity. We are willing to consider candidates from outside the motor trade, however, you will need to hold a very strong and stable track record in customer service and sales in order to be eligible.

SERVICE ADVISOR – TRENTON GRIMSBY

The Company

The Role
We are looking for an experienced advisor. This customer focused position requires the provision of excellent support and administrative service between the customer and Service Centre. As the face of Trenton you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of service activity to maximise workshop/body shop utilisation and profitability, as well as ensuring our customers are 100% satisfied.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport and qualify customers’ needs
  • Agrees the details of the work that is to be carried out
  • Coordinates activities to deliver agreed work (on time/cost)
  • Updates the customer on progress and ensures high standards of service
  • Keep up to date with products, changes within the industry and legislation
  • Works as a full member of the Centre team

The Person

  • Customer Service experience within a franchised dealership or body shop
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to liaise confidently with customers
  • Knowledge of workshop loading systems would be beneficial but not essential
  • IT Literate with Pinnacle (preferably) and knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • A solution focused individual with a natural problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent time management skills
  • From an automotive trade background although not essential
